study of lines

some of the stuff i did during my first year in artschool about 10 years ago where we had to study the fundamentals of lines in design. basically we had to scour the campus, looking for random things to dip into indian ink and streak / doodle / stamp on the art paper, making rhythmic lines and patterns. it was actually really fun, kinda like potato stamping during pre-school, only we get real marks for this.

i initially wanted to throw them away and then ikea had a sale and they were selling these wodden frames really cheap, i decided they'd be such cool artworks to be framed.
